1. What is the difference between glass and crystal glass? 

  • Appearance

Glass is often slightly foggy in appearance and can typically feature a tint based on the ingredients in its composition. On the other hand, crystal glass boasts incredible clarity, which makes it a desirable choice for high-end glassware and decorations.

  • Thickness

While glass often has a thick rim as it requires a high working temperature and hardens rather quickly after being heated, crystal glass can be heated at lower temperatures than glass because of other chemicals like potassium carbonate in the composition. This allows for the glassblower to more easily work the material and make it thin yet remain strong.

  • Sound

Glass provides a dull chime when tapped or flicked that is usually short in length and subtle. However, crystal creates a satisfying bell-like ringing sound and is slightly prolonged.

In general, although glass tableware is a great option for everyday use as it is made thick and durable, crystal glass is esteemed for its superior clarity, brilliance, and aesthetic appeal due to its specific composition.

2. Is it safe to drink from crystal glass? 

Your health and satisfaction are of utmost importance to us, so all our glass products are crafted with high quality lead-free glass or crystal glass for you to enjoy without worries about harmful substances.

1. Can I opt for self pick-up instead of having to pay for delivery?

While we aim to provide the best service possible to our customers, we currently only offer delivery services for all orders placed through our platform to ensure a streamlined and efficient process for all our customers. That said, we are pleased to offer free delivery services for orders above $50! 

2. How long will delivery take?

We promise we're as excited to send out your order as you are to receive it, so we'll strive to have your order delivered within 3 to 5 days.

3. What happens if my glassware arrives broken? 

Ensuring your satisfaction is our top priority, and it's truly disheartening to learn that your order didn’t arrive in perfect condition. Please drop an email to waretown.sg@gmail.com with your order details and photos of the damaged items in the original packaging so we can promptly send you a replacement.
